The kitchen is particularly brilliant with everything you need to cook at home (a must when babies mean you are staying in every night!) It's a great space to come with little ones complete with toys and stair gates. The views from the terraces are amazing so you feel like you have seen the mountains without moving at all but there are also many brilliant a things to do locally on including lots of lovely walks. Jenna was helpful in answering all our questions and checking in on us. Altogether a fantastic stay, we hope to come back!.”

“All Fabulous! Spent an amazing week here in July. Chalet & cabin are perfect in every way with amazing views of the mountains, even from your bed! Enjoyed having the sun on different decked areas on both sides of the house in the morning and evening. All very private and really feels like you are away from it all, instantly relaxing just to be there. very convenient to shops and attractions in Les Houches and Chamonix, although a car is probably advised. Kitchen and bathrooms all well appointed and clean. Like home from home. Jenna was lovely, very helpful and communicative but not intrusive and responded quickly to emails. Really enjoyed the goodies she left us in the fridge too! Do not hesitate to book this combo if you love the mountains, fresh air and quality spaces - one of the best places we have stayed.”

The house has absolutely everything one would need and it is extremely well organised. The beds are large and very comfortable. Amazing utility room, sauna + wonderful cook books etc And although, sadly, I did not get to meet Jenna all our communication was very smooth and easy, The house is wonderfully located at the edge of the forest and with extended family the space was absolutely ideal, we will definitely be back. Brevent / Plan Praz (Chamonix): 8km / 10 minutes drive

Flegere: 11km / 15 minutes drive

Grand Montets (Argentiere): 16km / 25 minutes drive

Domaine de Balme (Le Tour): 20km / 30 minutes drive

Chamonix offers a great variety of ski areas: Les Houches, Flégère / Brévent, Grands Montets, Le Tour / Vallorcine and of course the famous Aiguille du Midi off piste area. Each of those ski areas is uniquely different and is what makes the Chamonix Valley a skiers paradise. There certainly are skiing options for everyone. Les Houches ski area (where our chalet is located) is more family oriented and with easier ski options. There is plenty of skiing to be done for beginners. It also offers some great sunny terraces and mountain restaurants, so all in all, a great package for family / easier relaxing skiing.
